A consumer behavior and lifestyle expert, Ruchika is driving strategic brand thinking and premiumization for the internationally renowned & diverse portfolio of Beam Suntory in India. She is also leading shift towards digital-first equity building through social intelligence and other techniques, delivering strong share of voice across her brands, and crafting an exciting pipeline of international innovations to bring into India.


With focus on unmatched brand design, industry first digital campaigns, data led decision making, and world class integrated marketing communications, Ruchika has played a pivotal role in growing the premium spirits portfolio across a multitude of markets. After launching the 2 winning blends of Oaksmith – India’s first International Blended Whisky which has recently won many international and national accreditations and racing ahead of its peers in the category, her most recent achievements have been accelerated growth of some of the most iconic brands from Beam Suntory’s portfolio.


Ruchika has also lent her strategic insight and expertise for quick plan pivots during the pandemic, and curated various winning adaptation strategies including home premise experiences, influencer collaborations, and digital properties like Oaksmith Weekend Live which garnered over millions of views, and engagement.


Ruchika is a strong supporter of women leadership, and believes diversity is a reality and inclusion a choice. She actively nurtures young women leaders to be uninhibited, and bring out their best.


Ruchika is currently building a team of thought leaders at Beam Suntory, inspiring them to achieve their highest potential, and upskill for personal as well as professional growth. Prior to Beam Suntory, Ruchika led strategic thinking for world class brands like Bacardi Rums, Grey Goose Vodka, Uber India, brands from House of Unilever and Johnson & Johnson.


In addition to brands, Ruchika is equally passionate about yoga, travel and art – she is self learning art history, learning about various art movements starting right from the 1880’s.
