Popularly known as 'Paddy', Santosh Padhi started his advertising career 18 years ago. An art graduate from Mumbai, he completed an eventful 10-year stint at Leo Burnett, where he was an Executive Creative Director and the National Head of Art. 4 years ago, he left the Burnett network to start his new creative venture 'Taproot India'.
Lloyd Mathias is a Founder-Director of GreenBeen Ventures. GreenBean Ventures works with startups helping mentor, turnaround & accelerate growth in companies in the technology & telecom sector.
Till December 2011 he was President, & Chief Marketing Officer of Tata Teleservices Ltd heading Marketing, Product & revenue Management, Devices; OEM Alliances and VAS.
Prior to Tata Teleservices, Lloyd was the Senior Director, Sales & Distribution for Motorola’s Mobile Device Business. Lloyd drove the turnaround of Motorola’s Mobile business in India with a 9X growth in volumes over 17 months. He was the Marketing Director from 2005-2007, responsible for making Motorola among India’s 10 most loved brands.
Lloyd had his basic grounding in the consumer industry and was Executive VP Marketing for PepsiCo India’s beverage business. In his 12 year stint at PepsiCo, he handled regional roles, brand management & was category director for flavored drinks.
Lloyd served two terms as Chairman of Mobile Asia between 2005 & 2008– Asia’s largest consumer mobile event. He has also been the Co-chair of the CDMA Development Groups’ Global Device Strategy Council.
Lloyd has a deep connect with the Marketing, Retail, Advertising, Digital, Publishing & Media businesses in India having been the immediate past Chairman of MRUC- Media Research User’s Council – publishers of the Indian Readership Survey IRS.
Lloyd is a science graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, with a major in Geology & has an MBA from the University of Bombay.
In 2007 he named among the worlds top 15 marketers, by Inter national list magazine – a list that celebrates those international marketers who are truly the people behind outstanding cross border campaigns.
