Abhijit Sengupta’s 35-year journey in Out-of-Home (OOH) media began on the bustling sales floors of Selvel One Group, where he gained a front-row view into the complexities and nuances of the outdoor advertising world. His deep-rooted expertise took shape further through impactful stints with advertising giants Ogilvy and Mudra, setting the stage for his future ventures.
A defining milestone came when Abhijit co-founded MOMS at Madison, channelling his entrepreneurial spirit to push boundaries in a largely traditional industry. But it was in 2002 that his most visionary move came to life — the launch of OAP Mediatech Pvt. Ltd., founded on the pillars of accountability, transparency, technology, and research. What started as a bold experiment has today evolved into India’s largest independent OOH agency, commanding a turnover of ₹400 crore and setting new benchmarks for planning, strategy, and execution.
