Vikas Singh is a seasoned Brand Marketing professional. With 17 years of experience in building strong brands, Vikas has worked on some of the biggest brands in the country including Dettol, Lysol, Airwick, Dabur Lal Dant Manjan and ABP News. He has worked on the much awarded marketing campaign for smooth transition from Star News to ABP News without any drop in Market share. He currently heads Brand Marketing at No-1 Indian Newspaper- Dainik Bhaskar as Associate Vice President.

A Chancellor gold medalist for Best allrounder graduating student and Vice chancellor silver medal for academic excellence, Vikas has interests in Tea, Train and Tintin. He holds three Limca Book records: Largest Tea collection in India, First Philatelic exhibition in a moving train and Largest multilingual comic collection. A certified tea taster, Vikas has done extensive tea trails in the country and across globe. His philatelic collection on Indian Railways has won several international and national awards. He regularly conducts courses in Indian Railway Heritage at National Rail Museum, New Delhi and at Staff College, Vadodara. At the recent CIDOC conference organized by ICOM in New Delhi he was one of the panelists at the session on documenting Industrial heritage. He edits the annual magazine of Indian Steam railway Society besideswriting regularly for Indian Railways Magazine. In 2005 he did a solo exhibition at India International Centre, New Delhi on Indian Steam locomotives. His book-Philatelic handbook on Indian railways won a Bronze at London stamp show. He is a certified Tintinologistwith a world record collection of Tintin comics in 126 languages. He has done Tintin trails in Brussels, Paris and Milan. He also has an extensive collection of Tintin memorabilia, Tintin stamps, figurines, vintage magazines, newspapers and other Tintin ephemera.

A Chancellor Debate winner, Vikas has won a no of awards at various debates and declamation contests. He is also a regular speaker at various sales, marketing and advertising conferences.
Vikas loves travelling. At the last count he had travelled to 260 cities in India and abroad. He is top contributor on Trip advisor. He also has collection of almost all published work on Ruskin Bond. He is currently writing a book on Ruskin Bond. Recently he managed to discover the first printed short story of Bond, which has for long been considered, lost.

Vikas loves reading. He has a personal collection of more than 5000 books on a wide range of subjects from fiction to mythology and history. He has successfully completed a no of courses on History of Comics, History of World Architecture, and Classic books from edX and Coursera. A teetotaler, he even did a course in Wine tasting from University of Adelaide!
