Before Star India Shalini has worked with Idea Cellular and Reliance ADAG where she was spearheading the media services for national/regional media, rural, cinema and brand building initiatives & has contributed to many successful marketing activities. Most notable campaigns handled by her is launch of Reliance GSM, Big DTH, the ‘Hunny Bunny” campaign “Idea Mayabazaar” “Idea Rocks India” “Star Plus Nayi Soch” “Kabaddi- Chhota bheem” “ICICI home loan” which was also acknowledged amongst the best marketing initiatives and won many awards.
Shalini was also associated with the leading agencies like Group M, Rediffusion TME and IMRB International. Her experience here included large-scale brand building, re-positioning exercises, innovative activation projects with some of the world’s leading consumer brands including Colgate ICICI Bank Unilever. She has honors in Psychology & Chemistry with Master in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, BHU. Her motto to live by is “imagination is at your core”
