Arun Malkani is the Chief Marketing Officer for BSLI responsible for determining and defining the marketing strategy and initiatives of the company and its offerings, with the objective of being the target customer's preferred brand and choice among life insurance companies. He is also a member of the Marketing Council of the Aditya Birla Financial Services Group.
Arun has done his Masters in Management Studies (specializing in Marketing) from Mumbai University and has worked experience with leading MNC and Indian private sector organizations, primarily in the banking and financial services industry. Prior to his current role, Arun was Head of Marketing for Liabilities, Investment Products, and Segments at Axis Bank. He has also been Head – Marketing Services at HDFC Bank. He has been a member of the jury for the Effies Awards of the Ad Club, Bombay, the Digiratti Awards for online campaign excellence and the PrintWeek India Awards. He is also an occasional guest lecturer at management institutes on various aspects of marketing and communication.
