Neil is the Founder & Director of Runor Data Consulting, which leverages over 40 years of knowledge acquired in the media world to the application and interpretation of data in this space.

 

Established in 2020 we currently use this expertise to advise the board and technical committees of industry audience measurement bodies, media owners, agencies and digital technology providers worldwide.

 

Prior to setting up Runor, Neil led JCDecaux OneWorld, responsible for the international sales, marketing and research activity in the 80+ countries worldwide in which the JCDecaux Group operated, developing the Group’s strategic use of data in the developing digital OOH ecosystem and establishing the VIOOH buying platform.

 

As an advisor to many OOH measurement bodies (JICs) around the world, Neil was also integral to the development of the joint WFA/EACA/AAAA/ESOMAR initiative to provide Global Guidelines for OOH measurement. Subsequently he recently partnered with the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) to chair a new version of these guidelines, which were recently updated.

 

 

Neil previously worked in the UK’s leading commercial TV company, ITV, after obtaining an Honours Degree in Economics. He lives in the English county of Oxfordshire with his wife, children and an unruly German Shorthaired Pointer.
