Isteyaq Ahmed joined RED FM in 2006, as a part of their marketing team in Mumbai. He took over as the marketing head in a short span of time, and is presently the National Head - Digital and New Initiatives, in Delhi. He has been working directly with the COO to craft the Red FM digital portfolio and has build it into a digitally relevant brand.
He has been vital in developing the digital strategy of Red FM at a time when connected devices have changed media consumption patterns. While at Red FM, Isteyaq has won numerous accolades such as Emvies for best media marketer, best media strategy and ERA for the best FM brand.
Having had the privilege of working with leaders of the industry in the past, such as Abe Thomas and Abhijit Sarkar, Isteyaq has been able to imbibe a lot of strategic insight under their leadership.
Prior to working with RED FM, Isteyaq has been leading marketing for Fever 104 FM (HT Media), World Kabaddi League, Sahara One, Star TV and The Times of India.
Isteyaq has always been passionate about being in the business of media and has build a vast repertoire of launching numerous media brands.
He has also been crucially involved in the development of radio measurement and radio monitoring systems, and since has been invited as a part of esteemed juries and panels at various industry forums.
