After completion of his law & economics degree at the University of Monash in Australia, Adam ventured abroad to Asia to experience life on the sub-continent. He spent three years in Hong Kong and China and then another 3 years in India, involved in a number of companies related to Outdoor Media.

 

With his commercial mindset and an eye for opportunity, he joined an Australian company called Vertigo with the goal of expanding the business into Asia. He was instrumental in establishing the Hong Kong head office, as well as a strong presence for the Company in China and India. His unique vision and business acumen guided Vertigo Asia to become one of the leading signage specialists in the region, including implementation of Asia’s biggest building wrap in Hong Kong in 2003. This high profile work attracted the attention of the world’s largest Outdoor advertising company, Clear Channel, and secured a consultancy role to them on one of the world’s largest bus shelter roll-out projects in Singapore.

 

In 2000, he relocated with his family to South Africa, where he was involved in the establishment of a number businesses related to his fields of expertise. Seeing an opportunity to utilize his international experience and contacts, he coordinated a number of high profile successful joint venture projects under the Secondharvest brand name. In 2006, the company was formally incorporated and has been providing independent consultancy services to private and public sector clients in Asia, Africa and the East.
