Nabendu Bhattacharyya is Founder & Managing Director of Milestone Brandcom Group, the Largest Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising & media agency in India. With stellar business experience, Nabendu has redefined every leadership position that he has held in his corporate journey of over 20 years. A bold visionary, Nabendu had the ability to develop creative solutions for mature organizations facing changing industry dynamics or consumer tastes with the launch of Milestone Brandcom. Within two years of his entrepreneurial journey in 2009, he has already earned a reputation as one of the most successful OOH business entrepreneurs in India today.

With over 20 years of out-of-home journey, he could easily be called a passionate ‘Out-of-Home Man’ always on the move to make a difference.

Born & brought up in the city of joy – Kolkata, Out-of-Home career literally took him on an outdoor voyage starting from Delhi with Selvel Media all the way to the Middle East with Emirates Neon and back into India in Mumbai with Ogilvy & Mather - India. He served for over a decade and reached the topmost position as President – Ogilvy Action – India to control over 45% of Indian OOH Industry share with 200 people on board and experienced servicing over 100 active brands. Orange-Hutch-Vodafone was the Industry benchmark created under his leadership. Nabendu is widely credited for his ability to identify and motivate talent to challenge existing assumptions using brand discipline and superior communication skills; thus creating new pathways for success.

Nabendu’s biz acumen further re-enforced while he won a Runner Up ‘Business Person of The year’ at Media Magazine awards in 2008 from Ogilvy Action which was an Asia Pacific contest.

His entrepreneurial dream finally saw the light of the day in October 2009 when he launched Milestone Brandcom, a differentiated organization that challenged the status quo and the way OOH was planned, bought & executed. Through its strategic planning, innovative technology and creative solutions, Milestone Brandcom completely transformed the outdoor landscape to bring about a forward looking, healthy & positive outlook towards the industry.

Nabendu also serves as a Technical Committee Member at MRUC conducting Outdoor research across India (Indian Outdoor Survey), a tool intended to aid planning and buying OOH media in the country.

Today Milestone Brandcom is the largest OOH agency in India with 200+ people on board and servicing over 100 national & multinational brands and growing 100% YOY. The agency service portfolio has expanded from OOH communication to offer a full-fledged through-the-line integrated solution that includes live events, experiential marketing, brand promotions, sports marketing & last mile retail solutions.

2014, being a landslide victory year for Milestone Brandcom Group, they won Creative & Media Agency of the year at E4M Awards with 20 Metals. At Goafest Milestone Brandcom won 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 4 Bronze metals and ranked No. 3 in the media agency metal tally Milestone Further Launched Milestone Optimizer an Audience Measurement Planning tool spanning across the top 10 cities in India. Optimizer promises to deliver GIP - Gross Impression Points of OOH campaigns; a measurement metric which has been long awaited by the Industry.
