Alok Jalan, Managing Director of Laqshya Media Group, is a first-generation media & advertising entrepreneur hailing from a respected business family. In his 2-decade journey as a pioneering leader in the media & advertising space, Alok has played an instrumental role in revolutionising the Indian OOH eco-system. As a member of the Governor Board of IOAA, he has set the highest standards for the industry in all key dimensions of OOH business. He has been at the forefront of the industry’s forays into areas like self-regulation, steps to develop a common currency, digitalisation of the medium, participation in smart city projects, etc.
Right from the inception of Laqshya Media in 1998, Alok has kept business ethics as the principal guiding principle for doing OOH business. Under his leadership, the group has won prestigious awards in three of the group’s business verticals - OOH, Digital and Experiential Marketing.
Alok is currently pursuing the Owner’s/Presidents Management Programme (OPM) from Harvard University, and actively contributes to various National and International Boards and Bodies in the advertising eco-system. He believes that ‘great leaders do not set out to be leaders; they set out to make a difference’.
