Mr. Bishwajeet Samal is the Head of Marketing Communication for Volkswagen Passenger Cars in India. Here he is in charge of developing and implementing brand strategies as well as marketing communications. He has been instrumental in launching and establishing the brand and various car lines within the brand in India. Having worked with Volkswagen for close to 6 years now, he has been able to successfully devise several innovative marketing strategies and campaigns across various mediums (print, OOH, Digital) to position Volkswagen as a highly innovative and aspirational brand in the Indian market.
He has done his MBA in Marketing from IMDR (Institute of Management Development & Research), Pune and is a marketing professional with more than 11 years of experience in Marketing and Advertising. He has worked in Media, Advertising & Telecom industries before joining Volkswagen.
His other interests include traveling, watching movies, playing Cricket & Lawn Tennis.
