Avijit Dhar heads marketing for Manyavar – India’s leading ethnic wear brand for men. Besides Manyavar, he also drives marketing initiatives for Mohey – a bridal wear brand, and Mebaz – a regional occasion wear brand – both owned by the Manyavar group. Before joining Manyavar, he spent significant time in Radio Mirchi, owned by the Times of India group. In his last role, he was heading marketing and go-to-market strategy for new brands launched by the group.
Avijit built his career in marketing, working across various sub-functions like media planning and buying, marketing communications, market research, product management and brand management. He has been a part of several award-winning marketing campaigns. He is a science graduate from Calcutta University and has done his MBA from IMT Ghaziabad.
