Sheran brings with her over a decade of experience in marketing and branding. She began her career in advertising that included assignments with SSCB, Lintasand Ogilvy. During this period, Sheransuccessfully handled high-value accounts such as ICICI Direct, Kimberly Clark, Hindustan Lever, Amex and Pfizer, winning various awards for excellence in formulating and executing effective brand communication.
After a rewarding stint in advertising, she ventured into financial services marketing with HSBC. Here Sheranwas a key member in launching the brand in India, bagging the Best Brand Activation Award at the HSBC Annual Asia Pacific Awards.
She then moved on to become one of the founding members of Barclays Bank Plc, playing a strategic role as Head of Marketing for India. Focusing on result-oriented marketing, she contributed significantly to the bank’s growth.
Keeping the ‘inventive spirit’ of the Barclays brand intact, her rewarding contribution earned Team India the highest brand score from among all the Barclays groups worldwide.
Over time, Sheranhas been recognized with extensive marketing, strategy and communications skills. She now has the challenging task of enabling Dhanlaxmi’saggressive business plans and making the bank one of the leading banking brands in India.
