With over 14+ years of experience in the industry, Mr. Patnaik comes from a background of working in FMCG categories like Home Care, Healthcare, Foods and beverage, Oral care, Personal care, and Chocolate. He has worked in functions like Research, Insights, Brand Marketing, and business management in organizations like IpsosPvt. Ltd. and Dr. Reddy’s Consumer Care before joining Continental Coffee.

 

An Alumnus of ICFAI Business School, Mumbai with a master’s degree in Business administration, Mr. Patnaik with the backing of strong consumer insights and preference (palatability) have been able to build Continental Coffee brand into a 150cr + within the span of 3.5 years. Brands like Continental Xtra (Instant Coffee) and Continental Malgudi (Filter Coffee) has been able to tell a story and differentiate itself in Southern market which is a strong duopoly market. Continental THIS (premix) have been able to provide deliver affordable coffee options (flavours) for a larger set of consumer base.

 

Continental Coffee has been recently awarded as the “Beast Brand of the Year” in coffee category by Team Marksmen & India Today (Television partner)

 

Mr. Patnaik’s vision is to make Continental one of the preferred brands in the Coffee category and to make it the ultimate coffee destination for coffee drinkers in the globe by offering innovative, convenient, affordable yet fine coffee experiences.

 

During his off time, Mr. Patnaik likes to unwind by listening to music, dance, playing badminton and reading.
