Tim specialises in media brand building and turnarounds, with experience of leading businesses through private equity, consolidation and exit.Tim has led the Ocean Group through three phases of investment within the private equity arena including an MBO backed by LDC, LDC’s equity sale in 2014 to Searchlight Capital and the subsequent acquisitions of Signature and MediaCo Outdoor.

In March 2018, Tim announced Ocean’s plans for a full LSE listing via its new investment partner, Ocelot.

Tim has previously held senior director level leadership roles in some of the highest profile media businesses in the UK including ITV, talkSPORT, Emap Advertising (now Bauer), CBS and Viacom Outdoor.
