Outdoor Advertising Convention was an idea initiated with an aim to create a platform which would be for and by the Outdoor Industry folks; an event where yearly the industry could meet and indulge in a 2 day outdoor oriented arena. With convention being the knowledge sharing platform, awards the celebration time and finally Expo the solutions gallery. All these three make OAC a complete package.
For the Indian Outdoor Advertising Industry, the Expo at OAC 2010 was a shining confluence of not just the latest technological advances but also the most up-to-date and cutting edge out-of-home solutions. The Expo this year featured a much larger space, approx 500 Sq. M. as compared to 250 sq. m. last year. With more than double the space than in previous years, the expo showcased a broader range of products from scrollers to trivisions and from LEDs to innovative outdoor media formats like the 3D screens from Times OOH.
The Expo witnessed immense amount of participation with about 20 exhibitors, all offering sophisticated solutions. There was ‘Times OOH’ who showcased its new media 3D LCD Screens, These screens are IPTV enabled and controlled remotely from the Three D Holograms office. The display is visible to the naked eye and one does not need special glasses. Adding to the visibility parade was I&W Innovations who displayed their 3D themed media solutions. And in the digital league, Samsung offered its Digital Signage Applications and many more with interesting concepts.
